In 1952, 10-year-old Katrina endures relentless abuse from her alcoholic father Grant on their decaying farm. As her fear curdles into a cold, calculating resolve, a tragic fire consumes them both. Decades later, paranormal investigators Rob and Derrick arrive at the long-abandoned house, drawn by persistent rumors of hauntings. They uncover the grim history of the place, learning of Katrina’s tormented life and the ominous circumstances of the fire. As they set up their equipment, they soon discover that some echoes of the past are not content to remain silent, and the ghost of Katrina may still be very much present—and waiting.
